Hello,
My name is Aurel.
You might ask yourself why I do this?
I envision a world where everyone has easy access to the knowledge, tools and processes to lead a happy and fulfilled life, envision their best possible selves and create the life they desire.
Contact me if you are interested to collaborate on the vision.
How do I do this?
Coaching is a path to this vision, with the biggest challenge being that outreach is limited by face-to-face contact with an expert. I believe that highly standardized workshops allow a great balance between quality and reaching a large number of people. The workshops combine the concepts used in coaching and the exchange between workshop participants. This is possible with workshop leaders who do not need to have expert knowledge in the field themselves.
Are you interested in setting up these standardized workshops at your organisation, such that you can assist the people around you to lead a happy and fulfilled life, envision their best possible selves and create the life they desire?
A

You might ask yourself who I am?
I would like to give you a glimpse of how I see myself in this world:
My current purpose, which may change in light of new information, is to continuously create and enjoy a life worth living while exploring the world and positively impacting the universe.
For me, this means cultivating meaningful relationships with others, nurturing, enjoying and challenging my body & mind, discovering and experiencing the beauty of the world playfully, creating something meaningful together, enjoying everyday things, being grateful and experiencing the known and the new.
My past started in 1992 in Münsterlingen - CH, where as a baby I loved the cold water of Lake Constance swimming with my mom until late September. My family moved to live in Sri Lanka in 1998. Looking back at this time I’m very grateful for the friends I met in the local school in Kotmale and for the diverse culture I got to know there. Sidenote: Luckily I didn’t die to a snake bite there - or maybe I did in another parallel universe?
In 2003 we moved back to Switzerland due to the terminal illness of our father. This was a tough time for our family but bonded us together even more in the long run. During this time I continued the family's passion for sports and started track and field athletics. I tried out a lot of different sports from tennis, beach volleyball, badminton and finally found my true sports passion in ninja obstacle course racing. Feel free to follow me.
After finishing the secondary school in Einsiedeln I did my military service where I became more aware of my extremely positive attitude towards things and during a 40 km march noticed for the first time that our limits are way beyond what we believe.
During my studies in mathematics at ETH I learned a lot of discipline. I loved all the fascinating mathematical puzzles. I still love to solve escaperooms with friends, family and my partner. On the other hand, it was also a rough time spending a lot of time alone to understand these complex and abstract structures and I was eager to go out to work on real-world problems together with others.
During that time I joined a phenomenal community through mensa where I met many lovely people not just here in Switzerland but all over the planet. A completely new world of different concepts opened up back then and I’m still proud to be part of this community.
After finishing my civil service working for three months in a daycare in Zurich I started exploring the corporate world through different trainee programs. I got to know many different leadership styles, ways of working together and methods how (not) to get stuff done. I am currently enthusiastically employed at a larger insurance company as a product owner to help provide the right data to secure your future.
Back in 2019 during my trainee program, I noticed that some people had something I called mental blocks back then. This was the starting point for my fascination with psychology, coaching, and workshops. In my free time, I started exploring concepts of purpose and how to change mindsets in workshops together with others. I’ve been coaching people to find answers within themselves since the beginning of 2021. At the moment I believe - as mentioned above - that a large number of people can be reached through highly standardized workshops.
